Snow Day/What's new with me

So yesterday there was a huge blizzard, My parents have been preparing for it all week. They put everything in the barn, got all the cats they could find and put them in the house fueled everything up, skid loader, Polaris, my dads truck and my moms car if the power went out. 

We were watching TV when it happened, I keep looking at fcps.org for info school and they said "all weekend activities have been canceled at fcps. I was watching the snow fall and fall see my vision of our neighbors house go and I heard the wind howling against the house, and saw the snow gently fall but when the wind came it was like the bully to the snow. 

The next day it was still falling, and when I got up I really wanted to go sledding. Last year or two years ago I got blow up sled for Christmas. There was no snow that year but this year when I blow it up and started carrying it out there was a big pile of snow that I had to climb over and whenever I took a step my feet sank so I decided to use the sled as a life raft and so I kept inching along and I decided to hope on and slide down the hill instead of inching a long so I hoped on and instead of going forwards I went backwards. 

Then I tied it again then realized that it wouldn't work then just brought it down slowly with me. My dad in all of this was clearing snow when he saw me with my sled he said we wouldn't be sledding in the big hill that we have were it's good to sled I was disappointed but... 

After I put my sled in the barn and decided to jump into the snow and make a snow angle. It didn't work that well. After that I decided to make a snow tunnel. We have these pillars that always form when there  is snow so I walked over to the farthest one a started digging. Every couple inches I would stop and clear the snow out, make it taller, and smooth the walls down. By the time I was finished it was big enough to fit my whole body in, it was so amazing. 

After I did that I went back inside, striped, and took a shower, my hair was frozen still. After my long shower I got dressed in the most comfortable clothes, then I went down stairs to watch TV with my family and relax. 

For dinner we had pizza and after we all had these frozen fruit bars witch by the way are so delicious. Then we went to bed. 

Today I woke up and decided to stay in my PJ's all day but after my mom got me out of bed and made me eat breakfast, I went upstairs to get my phone and when I get it and come back out of my room my dads sitting at the top of our stairs and wouldn't let me go down. I was about to go down our backstair way but my dad started to raise his voice telling me to get dressed. So after I got dressed and my brother came down stairs, my parents went outside to save two cats that were stuck under the house and they cleared the drive so they can get out tomorrow for work. 

Me and my brother whoever are staying home tomorrow because last night my brother, Gabe, checked fcps and it said that schools were closed for tomorrow. My great-grandma says that school will be closed on Tuesday too. I am hoping that she is correct for two reasons, the first reason is because we have off school, and the second reasons because if we come back on Wednesday I would have my new contacts in and I would start off the week with them. If we do have school on Tuesday then people would see me in glasses then the next day I would be without them.

So a little about me now that I am posting again. I am eleven years old. I live and a farm. My dream career/jobs are, water slide tester, journalist, photographer, the arts teacher, ( dancing, singing acting teacher) and the last job or career I want to do is be a famous actor, singer, or dancer. mostly actor.

The Field Trip

     “Is it time to go on our field trip?”asked Cloe. “Yes it is.” said Mrs.R, “ Where are going again?” asked Joe for the millionth time “ Are going to a farm!” Said Mrs.R. “What are we learning about?” asked Cloe, “We’re are learning about animals!” yelled Mrs.R. “YAY!” screamed the class. “One more thing” said Mrs.R “It’s not a regular bus, it’s painted all different colors like blue, magenta and many others. But that’s not all it’s covered in different herbs and plants.” “I thought we were going to learn about animals?” asked Bob “ well what do animals eat?” asked Mrs.R, “Feed” said Cloe “So what is in feed?” asked Mrs.R “plants” said Dylan. “Mrs.R your bus is ready” said the announcer, “Yay!” screamed everyone.

Once on the Bus

      “Hi, my name is farmer Joan” “Hi!” yelled the class. “As you can see this is what I call a farming bus.” “What’s that?” asked Cloe. “It’s a bus where you learn about plants and farming.” said farmer Joan. “I thought farming was just animals.” said Dylan. “That’s not true it can be many things and you can do many things like/and animals and with those two things  you can be organic which is when you don’t use chemicals on the plants and for animals they can be either on patronized which is when they live on grass not inclosed in a cage. Now lets talk about the bus, it’s brightly colored and has plants everywhere and I think it’s neat and it’s multi usive!”  “What’s the other use?”asked Mrs.R. “It can also be used to turn people into animals!” said farmer Joan. “Can we be turned into something that we learned about today?” asked dylan, “I guess.”

At the Farm

      “these are my dogs, Q and Vinnie, they’re nice dogs. You will be seeing some cats but if you see then the orange and white is Garfield, the tabby is Lady, the bigger Tabby is Tigas, the bigger orange and white is MIlo and the gray and white is Max. Ok, the first animal you’ll see is chickens, don’t touch the fence unless I say, it’s electrofied. I have 350 some chickens, I feed, water, and collect all the eggs. I also wash, pack and label all the eggs by size. Some of the chickens are nice but others peck.Now to the sheep, I just got them a couple of days ago.Ok, that’s all the today. Bye!” “ Wait, wait, you said we could change into an animal” says Joe. “Fine” says farmer Joan “Which animal?”asked farmer Joan. “sheep!” yelled Dylan “ok, but just for a minute” then we turned into a sheep and learned all about sheep, what they eat, how they eat,what they do and a lot of other things. It was so cool. It was the best field trip I’ve ever been on!

First Blue Man Group Concert

On my vacation on the last day at 8:40pm, I went to a stadium that was basically pitch black, the only thing white was the balls on the ceiling.  On my black leather seat was a clear pancho.  I was getting really excited and scared that I would get paint on my shoes.  I saw a sign that said "this is your last chance to use your cell phone, so take a selfie, text your BFF, go on twitter, check a cookie, like a hooky and go crazy."  Once I read that I told my parents to look at it and we all started laughing.

After that, I started looking around at everyone and I was amazed how many people came to the show.  Then this lady in a beautiful red and black dress came in and said "why is everyone wearing plastic bags?" and everyone started laughing.  I looked over to my left and saw another couple in fancy clothes and when they put pn their pancho they put their head into the arm whole and I turned to my dad and said, "look over there" and when my dad saw what I was looking at, we started laughing.

When the concert started everyone started screaming and I was so excited!  The Blue men came out and they had drums.  One guy had yellow paint and he started dumping that in, then the other guy had pinkish-red paint and he dumped that in.  Then everything stopped.  The guy with the yellow paint poured everything into his bottle (it took like 5 mins) then the third guy beat the drum, paint splattered everywhere!

Then one guy threw a paint ball into another guys mouth and I screamed "that is so gross!"

How I decided I wanted to be a journalist and photographer

When I decided I wanted to be a journalist and a photographer I was taking pictures and I started turning the camera and taking good pictures.  That is when I decided I wanted to be a photographer.  When I wanted to be a journalist is a different story.  I was writing on my blog and in school and I just blanked out and when I came back I had to write a lot and it was the best writing I have ever wrote.  Now I am getting better at writing either practicing on my blog or at school.  That is how I learned I wanted to be a photographer and a journalist.

My mistake and what I am excited about

Today I made a mistake. I told my whole class I had this blog and now they said they were going to look on it. It might be just me but I think I pulisted some personal things on here. The person I am talking about today is named Dylan. He told everyone that I had a blog and told them my blog name and were to find it. (He yelled it out) I think that's embarrassing. But enough about him lets talk about the stupid state test we have to take, yes their easy but some of the questions are hard. The math math state test are sort of hard ( but I am not good at math) but the language art states test I think are very easy. Tomorrow is a normal day so I might not blog tomorrow. Now what I am excited about. After my trip in T-29 days i am going to get 4 sheep two for me to take care of and two for my parents. Now I am excited to do my trip and get it over with. Finally I have a musical ate the end of this week and I am very nervous. I am also nervous about my acting recital at May 3 so those are the things I am needs about.
